2007 will see the 50th anniversary of competitive cricket for Amaranth. The club was officially formed in October of 1956 by the "magnificent" seven and has played every summer since.

To celebrate this anniversary the club is planning on holding a number of events and functions so please keep checking the news and events pages on this site. This year the club is also focusing on Junior development and has entered teams into the Wetherby League's Under 17; Under 11 and Under 9 competitions anyone interested in joining please contact the relevant coaches listed on the contacts page.

The 1st XI and 2nd XI both play in the Wetherby League on Saturday afternoons and new players would be welcome. Please contact either of the Captains listed on the Contacts page for details of net practices or how to get involved.

Finally as it is the 50th Anniversary year if there is anyone who has played for, helped with or in anyway been associated with the Club please please get in touch. We hope to see and hear from you soon.
